1990/2007 Prevost Motor Coach for Sale...Specification INFO*

·        1990 Angola XL40, with many 2007 upgrades and significant mechanical overhauls (see below).

·        Coach converted by Phil Robinson at Angola Coach in fall of 1990

·        VIN: 2P9M33404K1001895

·        I am the 4th owner, after Al Fink. (1st) Tom Karlsten. (2nd) Hy Robinovits. (3rd). All are current or former Prevost Proud members, and they were all very big on maintenance and repairs as I am. Because this is such a great organization I have joined also.

·        2007 major mechanical upgrades and serious maintenance, even to the point of taking the coach to Prevost in Quebec (St Nicolas Service facility), where they did a bumper to bumper audit and fixed or replaced many maintenance items, big and small (air bags, brakes and drums, wheel seals, new radiator fan ass’y, brake chambers, new tie rod ends and alignment, and complete fluid changes… and much more). Cost was $16,000.

·        Coach comes with Demco Kar Kaddy SS tow dolly with optional stone guard shield and spare tire. Tow dolly overhauled (like new) at Demco, summer of 2009.

·        Tires…front 80% (oversized 315/80R/22.5), drives 70%, tags 90% (drives and tags are 12R/22.5). Wheels are Alcoa aluminum.

·        266,392 miles on 8V92 TA Detroit Diesel (DDEC II) coupled to an Allison 755 auto transmission, with Jake Brake and cruise control. Also has Racor fuel/water filter separator.

·        Coach has no slides and it’s polished stainless sides are fantastic (have Milwaukee Electric buffer and polishing rouge to keep it that way). Also comes with two built in tool boxes (with most of the tools, including power tools and many “fix it” supplies) and a Coleman high end commercial duty gasoline pressure washer (3500 psi), which is just great for washing the coach to perfection. There is also an onboard air compressor (100 psi) and 75’ pressure hose. There are also lots of misc. items…oils, greases, cleaners, seals, belts, bulbs, filters, etc. And “up top”…there lots of household items, linens, towels, small appliances, cooking utensils, pots and pans, SS flatware, DVDs, CD’s, travel guides  and books. Outside, right bayside, coach has a real nice grill both charcoal and propane. This coach has about everything you would expect to have in a big coach, used by full timers. All we are taking are personal items, everything else stays.

·        120 gal grey/black water tank (combo) and 120 fresh water. There is grey water by pass to the outside where conditions permit.

·        Upgraded headlights and stainless steel valence panels on front of coach

·        Roof top search light, remote, Ray-Line

·        Like new UV Tire covers (black), with bungee cords, all tires

·        Grey leather driver (ISRI) and co-pilot (Flexsteel, electric with foot rest) seats

·        3 floor, 1000 watt “kick heaters”

·        Summer and winter “black out” drapes, front and back

·        Night travel or mood lighting …….. LED floor strip and parlor wall sconces with dimmer.

·        Nice touches of stain glass in bedroom, LED back lit

·        Bass Products-Yacht Master, main breaker panel and with digital gages (AC/DC) up front with generator start/stop. You can also start generator and operate mood lights from the rear bedroom.

·        Rear camera , KG-TK6012A, black and white

·        Two Ekornes Stressless® recliner chairs, black leather, in parlor with ottoman. Very comfortable. New in 2006.

·        Chrome Ramco mirrors with top hats. Remote operated and heated.

·        Front Hella fog lights, with coach docking lights both sides and rear backing light

·        Full size queen bed is a Tempur-Pedic, with under bed storage. Coach also has lots of closets and up top storage. This additional storage feature is really one of the main reasons I selected this coach.

·        Pull out Joey Bed, full width of coach. Front bay.

·        5000 watt, 24 volt Vanner inverter, with 3, IOTA, DLS-2740 (40 amp), 24 volt battery chargers. Two (80 amps, in series) for house batteries and one (40 amps) for coach starting batteries. 2 are new in 2009, other one new in 2005

·        Four, 3 year old Lifeline (8 D, GPL-8DA) house batteries and four 3 year old Lifeline starter batteries (GPL-3100-T), with Sure Power (2402) battery isolator

·        Coach has both 30 amp and 50 amp capability. I choose to use the 30 amp connection as 30 amp is more ready available and we conserve electricity.

·        TRC Surge Guard®  RV Power Protector (34730) 30 amp

·        Hughes Auto former, Voltmaster (RV 2130), 30 amp

·        New radiator (2005), with new Prevost fan drive assembly (2007)

Rear stereo is an Alpine CDE 9870. TV’s…..Sharp LCD (front 19” with DVD and rear LCD 15” with Sony DVD player), day bed Flexsteel couch recovered. New Cobra CB, 25 WX NW ST with MJF Mobile Tuner and PA system.

·        Elegant interior, not flashy (grey and light green with black trim and light rose accents) Floor is carpet, with a nice tile in bathroom.

·        Lots of Corian counter tops throughout (including shower) and a very nice grey granite entrance and drivers floor.

·        As is usual for a Prevost coach conversion…..the amenities list is LONG and I most likely missed a few.

And finally, for posterity I have all the original paper work and spec list from Prevost when the coach was built as well as info on previous owners and their maintenance records.  I also have a very large selection of coach and equipment manuals, maintenance reports and general RV’ing methodology, strategies and “how too’s”. Also a lot of info on RV parks and RV clubs.

And the best part…I would be happy to take the new owner on a shakedown trip, so that they could get acquainted with the coach operation and its idiosyncrasies, a real time saver for the new owners.

To that end……this coach is ready to go tomorrow and can take you anywhere you want to go. And you do not have to spend a lot of money and precious time getting it ready to go and the tow dolly is a big plus. I probably have 500 hours of “tweaking and fixing” with many personal upgrades, numerous small items fixed/repaired, cleaned or maintained.

SO…..if you are interested please contact me, but beware I love to talk coaches and I would love to find a good home for “Dolly’s Pride”!

Finally, and the most important part; this is a “turn key” coach and she is ready to go tomorrow!

Best to you and thanks for reading!

Ed Lonsbary

*Apologies in advance for my long list, and commentary, but that is me, the, entrepreneur, engineer and all around “bus nut”. As a farm boy, a long time ago, maintenance and tweaking our equipment was key to our farm operation and it's success.

When I want it to go, it goes!
